Ethnic City is a celebration of culture without borders. The name is inspired by the word "ethnicity", but it also represents something much bigger — "a colourful city" where people from every background can come together to celebrate, explore and appreciate different cultures. It's a place where curiosity is encouraged, diversity is celebrated and everyone belongs.

Each cracker contains:

• An insert - joke/fun fact/language lesson
• A hat

Every box also includes additional activities printed inside the packaging.

No. Every cracker contains a different gift, so hopefully there's something for everyone.

Both editions are inspired by Ghanaian culture but feature different artwork, colours, selected gifts and unique activities printed on the inside panel of the box. From word searches and cultural challenges to language and trivia, each edition provides a different experience, making them perfect to collect or enjoy on different occasions while sharing the same Ethnic City mission of celebrating culture.

Because celebrations happen all year round. While our crackers are perfect for Christmas, they're also designed to bring people together for birthdays, weddings, dinner parties, anniversaries, cultural celebrations and many other special occasions. We chose the name Celebration Crackers because we wanted them to be enjoyed whenever there's something worth celebrating — and by everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Not at all. Everything is designed to be enjoyable whether it's your first introduction or you're already familiar with African cultures.

Yes. We blend entertainment with learning through maps, languages, proverbs, word searches, trivia and conversation starters.

No. While they're perfect for Christmas, our Celebration Crackers can also be enjoyed during birthdays, weddings, family gatherings, dinner parties, Black History Month, Kwanzaa, cultural celebrations and many other occasions.

We currently ship to mainland UK only. We're working on expanding to more destinations in the future, so keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.

Orders are usually delivered within 3–5 working days. Delivery times may vary during busy periods such as Christmas or public holidays.

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow your parcel's journey.

We're sorry to hear that. If your order arrives damaged, please take clear photographs of both the packaging and the contents as soon as possible. Contact us promptly with the photos, and we'll work with you and the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

Yes. If you've changed your mind, you can return your order in accordance with your statutory rights, provided the items are returned unused and in their original condition. Yes, the outer box is made from FSC® Mix certified paperboard, meaning the paper comes from responsibly managed sources and other controlled materials. Please recycle the box with your household paper and cardboard recycling where accepted.

Our crackers contain a variety of carefully selected gifts and components, some of which may include plastic or mixed materials. We encourage customers to separate the different materials and recycle them where local recycling facilities accept them.

The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) logo means the paper used for our outer packaging comes from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources. By choosing FSC® certified materials, we're supporting more responsible forest management and helping to protect the world's forests.

Absolutely! Ethnic City is a multicultural brand. While our first editions are inspired by Ghana, we plan to create future collections celebrating cultures and destinations from across Africa and around the world.
